Shiri Lavy, PhD, is a researcher at the Department of Educational Sociology, DPU, an Associate Professor at Western Gallilee college, Israel, and a former Associate Professor at the University of Haifa, Israel. Her research is positioned within the interpersonal, organizational and educational arenas. It focuses on strengths, relationships and work meaningfulness, and their interplay and contribution to human flourishing. Her research has been published in top tier journals, and received funding from the VIA Institute on Character, the Israeli Ministry of Education and the Israel Science Foundation. Professor Shiri Lavy was Co-Editor at the Journal of Happiness Studies, head of the Management of Education Systems Program at the University of Haifa, and a member of the International Positive Psychology Association Education Division steering committee.
