My research explores LGBTQ+ young people's memories of gender, sexuality, hope, and life trajectories in and around school life. I am particularly interested in how norms of gender and sexuality are produced, challenged, and negotiated within educational contexts. Drawing on feminist theory, affect theory, and postqualitative methodologies, I investigate how young people experience and navigate visibility, belonging, resistance, and community. My research contributes knowledge about the social and cultural conditions that shape LGBTQ+ young people's well-being, agency, and imagined futures.
