Katja Brøgger has taken up the position of Professor of Higher Education Policy and Governance.
Please join Katja Brøgger’s inaugural lecture at Aarhus University, campus Copenhagen. It will take place on 29 April 2026, 15:00–16:00 (CET), followed by a reception hosted by the Danish School of Education between 16.00-18.00 (CET). The lecture can be attended in-person or online. By signing up for online participation, you will receive a Zoom link as the event approaches.
The lecture, entitled "The Shifting Geopolitics of Higher Education: Academic Freedom, University Openness, and the Great Unsettling," examines how current geopolitical transformations are reshaping universities, academic freedom, and the conditions for openness and democratic engagement in higher education.
