The Research Unit for Education Policy, Governance and Administration is proud to welcome professor Berit Karseth as keynote speaker at our colloquium. She will discuss recent educational reforms with a particular interest in the interplay between a European Educational reform agenda and national and institutional practices of educational governing. She will explore how international texts configure common matters that have an impact on national educational reforms and curriculum policy through countries’ responses to global expectations and standards by adjusting their own policy to global requests and demands. From a Nordic perspective, Berit Karseth will elaborate on the regulative role of the state in reforming education.

Professor MSO John Benedicto Krejsler and PhD Student Miriam Madsen will act as discussants.
