Ericka Johnson:
"Technologies of pathologising the normal LUTS/BPH prostate"
This is a presentation of Ericka Johnson's own work within the multi-sited (Linköping U and Lancaster U) project "Prescriptive Prescriptions: Pharmaceuticals and Healthy Subjectivities", and is a study of how the diagnosis LUTS/BPH creates a diseased prostate before attempting to cure it. She focuses particularly on the technologies of examining and diagnosing the disease, but also the pharmaceutical 'solutions' to it.
