On the 2nd of November, 2023, the Policy Futures International Webinar Series hosted an insightful keynote presentation by Toni Verger, Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Dr Clara Fontdevila, British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Education, University of Glasgow.
The discussion’s outset was the topic ‘Towards mechanism-based explanations of educational change’, to which Dr Matthew Thomas, Senior Lecturer in International and Comparative Education from University of Glasgow, served as a discussant.
The event was introduced by Katja Brøgger, Policy Futures program director and Associate Professor at Aarhus University, and chaired by Susan Robertson, Professor of education at the University of Cambridge.
