On the 1st of Febuary, 2024, the Policy Futures International Webinar Series hosted an insightful keynote presentation by Stephen Ball, Emeritus Professor of Sociology of Education, University College London, IOE. The discussion’s outset was the topic ‘Neoliberalism and the ethics of extinction’, to which Professor Meg Maguire, School of Education, Communication & Society, Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy King’s College London and Professor Matthew Clarke, Director of Research School of Education, University of Aberdeen served as a discussant. The event was chaired by Susan Robertson, Professor of education at the University of Cambridge.
