On the 28th of September, the Policy Futures International Webinar Series hosted an insightful discussion on ‘Digital Nationalism and Education’ as Nelli Piattoeva, Associate Professor at Tampere University, gave a timely keynote presentation on her current research work, and Professor Inés Dussel and Associate Professor Jeremy Knox served as discussants.
Nelli’s keynote presentation covered two of her main research agendas, the relationship between education and nation-building and the infiltration of digitalization into public education. The talk’s outset was defined by a case study of E-Estonia and its education system.
The event was introduced by Katja Brøgger, Policy Futures program director and Associate Professor at Aarhus University, and chaired by Susan Robertson, Professor of education at the University of Cambridge.
