Presentation format (parallel workshops)

Research/Scholar papers: A paper should be in a report of a finished or near finished study or conceptual paper of the author(s) original work. The selected presenters/authors will be given 20 minutes (which includes a 5-minute question and answer section) to present main ideas or major findings of the paper.

Posters

The organizer will provide a display space for authors/presenters to engage in active discussion with other participants. The printed posters should be sent by author(s) to the organizer (Peking University) before the conference. Each poster should include the following specifications: A1 size, author name and brief profile, paper title, abstract or summary of the full paper, written in English.

Criteria for acceptance

All abstracts will be evaluated for possible acceptance by a proceeding committee. Relevance to the theme of the conference and originality of approach are considered in review process. The committee reserves the right to decline paper proposals without giving reasons.

Language

The languages of the conference are English and Mandarin Chinese. All abstracts and posters must be in English. Full papers can be in English or Mandarin Chinese.  

Proceedings

Conference proceedings will be published in printed copies/CD format. If you wish to have your paper included in the proceedings, kindly submit an electronic copy of your full paper to asemLL@dpu.dk and poyang@pku.edu.cn no later than 18 October, 2008.
