The research program Policy Futures investigates the education-policy nexus at a time of geo-political and European transformation and disruption.
Through international and cross-institutional seminars and research activities, the program explores theoretically and empirically, transformations in international cooperation and reforms, re-nationalizing protectionist strategies, diversity and social movements, and the intersection between them.
Cultivating understandings of the education-policy nexus, the research program engages with themes around democracy, inter/nationalism, federalism, accountability and gender among others.
Policy Futures brings together multiple disciplines such as public education policy, governance studies, comparative education, political science studies, economics of education, diagnosis of the contemporary, diversity studies and anthropology.
Policy Futures is based at Danish School of Education, Aarhus University.
