In the research programme Future Technology, Culture and Learning Processes, we deal with how technology changes and is changed by people and society. The focus is not only on specific technologies or on people, but on the relationship between these. The terms technology and culture & learning processes are interrelated, the two terms both indicate that a process of change is taking place.
The programme represents various scientific disciplines such as educational research, anthropology, cultural studies, neurobiology, neuropsychology, special pedagogy, social psychology, organizational psychology, design and engineering, which forms a foundation for a differentiated perspective on problems and potentials in future technology. The programme's researchers primarily, but not exclusively, work empirically in the study of human's relationship to technology.
