IEA studies at the Danish School of Education:
The IEA is an important forum in the international world of education: A unique network of academics, researchers and political decision-makers who have been working together since the 1960s with a view to preparing and carrying out studies of education throughout the world.
At the IEA we view the world as a natural educational laboratory in which the natural development of various school systems can be perceived as experiments of various ways of achieving the best possible results through school education.
Comparisons between various countries and cultures generate the degree of variation required to permit the study of important factors which would not have been discovered within any one system of education.
