I am a sociologist with a PhD from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, driven by a deep curiosity about power, inequality, empowerment, democratization, social movements, and social transformation. My research examines how power structures are contested, reshaped, or reproduced, and how social movements drive change. I am interested in exploring the complexities of collective action and transformation across different contemporary and historical contexts, from the Middle East to beyond.
