Profile

I am a Ph.D. fellow at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, building on more than two decades of experience in pediatric and family nursing, particularly within pediatric palliative care.

Research

My research is interdisciplinary, engaging with pragmatism, care ethics, feminist theory, and interactionist perspectives to explore hope, temporality, and the lived experiences of families caring for their child or young adult with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.

Drawing on practice-based insights from diverse global contexts, I seek to understand how hope and care emerge in suspended temporalities beyond institutional logics. Central to my work is how engaging the families in Collective Memory Work becomes a generative space of belonging, relationality, and agency - and how such practices can help build caring communities within families.
