Brenda Taggart, Senior Research Officer at University College London Institute of Education, with 20 years research experience exploring the impact of day care and pre-school on children’s outcomes.

Brenda Taggart has looked into the concept of quality and effective pedagogy and how research can inform policy development, especially for disadvantaged children.

Furthermore, Brenda was one of five Principal Investigators and the Research Co-ordinator of the Effective Pre-School, Primary and Secondary Education Project (EPPSE), a longitudinal study funded by the UK’s Department for Education (DfE).
