Today teachers and children in (pre-) school are increasingly subjects to the will of reform.

This professorship (WSR) aims at exploring and mapping this will to reform and the conditions it produces – in a transnational perspective.

The project will highlight three key themes that are mutually interdependent:

  1. the transnational turn: national(pre-)school and teacher education policy is increasingly negotiated within the OECD, EU and the Bologna Process;
  2. evidence: conditions for producing knowledge about What Works have changed considerably (Hattie, EPPI, WWC, DCER);
  3. social technologies: today education is increasingly staged by means of social technologies like student plans, learning plans and evidence-based/-informed concepts.

This projects aims at collaboration with universities, university colleges and practitioners

After the Inaugural Danish School of Education hosts a reception at the gallery
