The aim of this seminar series is to learn about existing research on university reform and to create a network among researchers and students.

The topics include

• international agendas for university reform within the so-called knowledge economy
• government policies towards universities - comparisons across different countries
• new forms of accountability, governance and management
• changing expectations about, and conditions for, research, teaching and learning
• responses from managers, academics, support staff and students - changes in their subject positions and identies.
